In my search for my line of african american Bolt's i have found that we are related to the Chappells (then spelled Capel in the 1880 census) of Ouachita, La. My great grandfather Lee Bolt married Esther Chappell, they were the parents of my great grandfather Anthony, then spelled (Antney) My greatgrandmother Esther, was the daughter of Henry and Louisa Chappell (then spelled Capel) her father (Henry) was from Nances, Muscogee,Georgia and born around 1852 , and her mother (Louisa) was from Alabama her maiden name was Duffy and was born around 1840, Esther had several siblings that are known of....Henry, John, and Mollie Chappell, however i think i found more.
