I would like to know if anyone knows about the Hitchings that lived in PA? I have a bible from my family which says 'Presented to Jennie Hitchings by her Father Nov 9th 1879.' There is a torn newspaper clipping pasted to the back of the bible 'Philipburg, PA, June 12, 1895 -Our esteemed young friend Mr. G. J. Kelly, one of the salesmen in Kessler's store, will be marred today to Mess Della Chilcote (I think is the last name) at Hopewell, Bedford county' (the rest is torn. I am trying to find her or her family.
