His parents were Thomas Fox b1774-d ?. and Mary Mannings Russell b1780- ?.Other issue Thomas Fox b1801-d?, Mary Ann Fox b1806-d?, Elizabeth Jane Fox b1809 -d?, Robert Fox b1811-d?, Daniel Fox b1817-d? . John M. Fox's 1st marriage in Kent on the 20 Aug 1830 was to Harriet King b1803 Kent- d1875 NSW Australia, Second Marriage Eliza (Elizabeth)King (in 1877 at Manly NSW) b1811 Kent-d1886 NSW Australia. John and Harriet arrived in Australia between 1847 and 1858. The King girls parents were Thomas and Amelia King. John and Harriet's Issue were Mary E Fox 1831-1925, John R Fox 1833-1900, George 1834-1925, Harriet Amelia Fox 1834-?, Thomas O. Fox 1836-1915
