STOCK: I have a Dr Edward Stock, MRCS, who was born in Knowle Somerset in 1818 and graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1841. He went on to become a prominent surgeon in Bristol. Only problem is I can't find out parents names or how he came to be a surgeon. I am assuming there is some influence/money in the family to get him through University. Would love to know what, as I rarely have anyone of significance in my family tree...lolol Any ideas? Married Alice Vining 1852 and died 1901. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
