Looking for parents of Lillie A. Buckelew, born 1900 possibly in Oklahoma. Married Thomas Gradie Buckelew about 1922-1924 in Union County, had a son Floyd G, born 1925. Lillie has two sisters, Myrtle Mitchell and Gertie M. Mitchell. and a brother Edd Phillips. Lillie and Myrtle and Gertie are in Eldorado in 1929 and 1931 according to old letters. Edd is in Oklahoma in 1930. Gertie married a Benait B Kinard, October 1931 in El Dorado. According to a 1920 St. Francis County Arkansas Census, Gertie and Myrtle are in the home of Andy and Alice L. Johnson as adopted daughters. Gertie is still listed with the Johnsons on a 1930 Cross County Arkansas Census. I don't believe they were actually adopted, but being raise by the Johnsons, my great grandparents. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
