Query Text:

Martyr family search - looking for info about an Ernest John Martyr born North Sydney Nova Scotia in 1897 or 1900. Only son of Edward and Evelyn (nee Kennedy). He had 5 or 6 sisters and apparently ran away to sea about 1917. May have been a descendant of Charles Martyr/Margaret M(a)cLean, married Pictou 10 May 1817. I am in Perth Australia and I need the info to complete a big gap in my family tree. Don't want to impose on anyone - just want info.
