I'm looking for help locating data on families that lived in Rutland, Vermont in the 1800 and 1900's. I was told they may have gone also to Il, Caldenia. Rockford. I have also found records that say this family may of been in Chetek, Wisconsin, La Crosse, Wisconsin. Nebraska and ?. Family name is Stanford. Emory M. Stanford and his wife Ester A. Had Harriet, Giblert and George. More? children not sure. Harriet was born about, 1863., I think born in Trempleau, Wisconsin Harriet over her life time married first Edgar Allen Newton. When he was killed by stepping off a train, He was hit by a sign and killed. Harriet packed up her children ? Edna Alice Newton , Gladys, and Lindley O? and crossed the Nebraska land to head for Il. I'am not only searching for data on this family. but also the hope of finding more family members that will be able to exchange photos etc. Harriet later married a Herbert Hanson. The only other names that pop into my head is one of her daughter's Edna Alice Newton married Fredrick D. Wicks my husband's father, father. . Any help on this line would be so appreciated.
