Im trying to find out the parent's names for my grandfather, John Kitt, who said he was born 18 March 1886 in Fallowfield, Nepean Twp, Carleton Co., Ontario, Canada. He claimed to be an orphan and did not know his parents and that he had no siblings. However, My cousin recently said he told her mother (when he had been drinking) that his father was a trapper who abused the family after he had been gone for long periods of time. John was raised by the Barnard Rooney (Sarah McCarthy?) family in Fallowfield. John helped with farm work and worked for Father Sloan and Father Brownrigg. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
