George Lahr (August 1873-Sept. 1948), German ancestry, born Minnesota, obit in Chicago paper copied to Waconia and Minneapolis papers, he is apparently born in Waconia, marries Astrid Hallquist (Bjorkroot) [so stated in obit], born in Sweded, came to US 1891, married c.1895-96, in Chicago by 1900 census. Purpose of search is to locate two lost grand daughters, Magdalena Lahr, dau. of George and Astrid, married my great uncle Charles von Windheim, they divorced 1925, family lost contact thereafter. Hope to find collateral relations to George. Magdalena remarried to a Hammerberg (obit of father, 1948). | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
