Query Text: |
I am doing research on my G.G.Grandfather, Thomas Henderson, born circa 1834 in Scotland, who married Edith Paynter Rogers in 1863 in the Algoma District. In the 1871 Census for Algoma Centre District, Bruce Mines Subdistrict they are listed as having 5 children: Thomas, James, Mary Jane, John and Charles. I have found info that another child, Edith, was born in June 1871. In the listing of Algoma Deaths, 1870 - 1873, I have found a Thomas Henderson, age 40, who died May 28, 1871 of consumption. I am wondering if it is be possible that there may have been a death notice in a local paper at the time which would list next of kin. That seems to be the only way I will be able to prove a connection to this person. Your assistance will be very much appreciated | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
