I am an adoptee searching for my birth mother. I was born June 1974 in the Kansas City, Mo. area and I was placed in foster care for three months due to a difficult birth (possibly breech) and/or difficulty breathing. My adoption was finalized in or around September 1974 in Clay County. From what I have been told, my mother was very young...maybe 15 years-old, lived in or around Smithville, Mo. and was possibly in a military family. I haven't got too much more information except that I am told that I look a lot like her. I have brown, naturally curly hair, light brown eyes, medium build and I am apprx. 5' 5inches. My adopted family was from the Lake of the Ozarks, Mo. area, my grandfather was a lawyer in Clay County. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
