Researching GRAY FAMILY, primarily Professor Oliver Crosby GRAY (1832-1905) and wife Artist Virginia LaFayette (Davis) GRAY (1834-1886), born and married (1858) in Lincoln County, Maine, he graduated Colby College 1855, supposedly in Hennepin County same year, in Wright County, Minnesota 1858, Nicollet Island 1859, to Holly Springs, Marshall County, Mississippi, fall 1859, then to Princeton, Dallas County, Arkansas, fall 1860, both died Arkansas, (wife 1858, to Wright County) 1889 Goodspeed Publishing Co, Chicago, has him, first Superintendent Minneapolis School, (Aware of Charlie Hoag) Also interested in the other GRAY FAMILY members who came to Hennepin County about 1855: Thomas Kennedy, John D., mother widow Elizabeth (Kennedy) Weeks-GRAY, Hennepin and Wright Counties also, Ambrose C.
