Lyman Washington Leach (1843-1916) and his wife Ellen Achsah Abbott (1846-1914) arrived in Clare County, Michigan in 1881. They previously had lived in Eaton County, Michigan. Thompson (1859-1932); George Samuel Leach (1866- ) married Adella Thompson (1867- ); Alice Marilda Leach (1868-1921) married David Kirkpatrick (1862-1947); Carrie Eliza Leach (1872-1952) married Edward Clark Van Conant (1869-1949); and Howard Richard Leach (1880-1924) married Maude Pratt (1879- ).
