My grandfather's name was Augustus F. Priest, who was born in Ceres, N.Y. February 26, 1861. Ceres no longer exists, I am told, but according to his writings it was located "about 24 miles north of Smethport, McKean County." His wife, or one of his wives, was my grandmother, Mary Belle Minter Priest. She gave birth to my mother, Margaret Minter Priest in Akron, Ohio, in 1911. Mr Priest died, we believe, in Oak Park Ill., around 1925, but I do not have the exact date. Any help will be most appreciated. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
