I am searching for a family who lived in the Mills Co or one of the surrounding county areas. I do not have the names, as the name pages were torn out of our family Bible by my father, and mailed to a cousin doing a search. He isdeceased, now, and my mother does not remember the cousin's name or where she lived at the time she requested the names from the Bible. It was my father's second cousin who he mailed this all to. So, all we are left with is a small profile of them on. (My father was a smart man, so we can not believe he did this!) This family lived on a 1280 ranch. The father passed away in 1946. We think the family leased out the ranch after his death, to help their mother out. There was the oldest child, who was a son. He was married but did not have any children when this entry was written in the early 50's we think. My father's mother (my grandmother)still had the Bible durning that time. The second born was also a son, who was married with two sons and one daughter in the late 40's/early 50's. He was a Baptist Minister, but where was not recorded as best we can tell. The third born was about 22 when this was recorded, so we think maybe she was born around 1927 or 1928. She had just finished college and married. The forth born was a son, who was in partnership with his oldest brother. They owned three grocery stores in the late 40's and early 50's. We do not know if they continued to own them through out their working years, if any children own them, or if they only owned them for a few years. We also have no idea if these were large or small grocery stores. He was about 20 so we think he may have been born in 1929 or 1930. The last born was a girl, who was about 18. She had just finished her second year of college and was going to go through her last two years when this was written. We don't know if she finished. We figure she was born about 1932 or 1933. We would like to locate this side of the family and get to know them. I pray some one sees this who recognises this family and can help us. Thank you for your time, trouble, and care. May God bless.
