Looking for relatives of Samuel JONES, Farmer & Meal Miller, born ?? Fathered Benjamin JONES. Scotland census 1861 has Benjamin's age as 6 (birth 1854/1855 ?) & birthplace "England". Mother of Benjamin was Isabella RUST, b 1830, Aberdeen, Scotland. Isabella RUST married Arthur BROWNIE in 1859 & lived in Premnay, Aberdeenshire. Also on 1861 census is John PATTERSON, age 3, whom I believe, from the LDS site and Scots Origin, was registered as John RUST, born 1858, St. Nicholas, Aberdeen, mother Isabel RUST, no father listed. Isabella's mother was Jane PATTERSON. The above mentioned Benjamin JONES married Margaret/Maggie CUMMING & had 7 or 8 children, one being my grandfather Benjamin JONES (Jr) who married Jessie MORRISON.
