I am searching for info on my gg Grandfather, Medad C. Howland b. 4/23/1817. I found some good info on the 1850 Census for Pike Co. Illinois, Township 6s4w. I think it has his brother, William P. Howland and his Mother, Olive Howland. It shows Olive living in the Adam Peterbaugh household with his wifes name as Helen which I think is William & Medads sister. I can't seem to find much on their father, although I did get some information from another source that gives his name as William Lemuel b. 1788, and wife Olive Ann Abbott b.1783 . This source lists their children as William Pinney Howland b. 1/27/1816, Medad Curtis Howland b. 4/23/1817, Wife Mary Lucinda Jennings, Pierpoint Edward Howland b. 12/26/1818, Harriet Oliva ( Olive? ) Howland b. 1/12/1821, and Helen Jane Howland b. 2/27/1824.
