Searching for parents of WILLIAM M. CURRY b. 1822-15 S.C., m. MARY A. HAMMOCK in Newton Co., Ga 1848, Carroll Co. Ga. Census 1860 with 1 child. WILLIAM enlisted iN CW mAY 12, 1862, D.July 1863 halfway between Jackson & Vicksburg. Mary never claimed his personal effects; however in 1900 his mother MARY E. did file Pension Application. NEED CURRY info from S.C. 1830's to make connection. It's been impossible to do from censuses of that period. If you have ANY WILLIAM M.
