(Pomeroy), b. 1838, NY; Andrew, b. 1839; Charlotte, 1843, NY. Benjamin also appears in the Will Co., IL Directory from 1859 - 1860, town of Wilmington. The family is in Ganeer, Kankakee, IL in 1860: Benjamin, Nancy, John Pomeroy, Andrew and Helen M. (this time listed as "idiotic"). I am descended from John Pomeroy who served in the civil war and married Harriet ALLEN in MN, 1871.
