Children- Mary, Lawrence b. 1862, William b. 1864, Jackson, Stephen b. 1874. Reuben moved to Alachua, Florida after 1907. He married Nellie Taylor b. 1892. children- Hoke Smith Jones (My Grandfather) b. 1907 in Georgia. Joseph A. Jones b. 1909, Florida In 1920, I found Reuben still in florida, with Nellie. Children- Hoke, Joseph, Walter, Ernest Rueben, Harrison, Bishop. Later, They had Ray b. 1922. By the 1930 Census, Reuben and Nellie both have died and the Children are spread out through South Carolina. Hoke was living in Fountain Inn, SC with Tom Dorn and His family. Walter was living in Greenwood, SC. He had Ernest Rueben and Ray living with him. Harrison and Bishop were inmates at the John De La Howe Home State School in McCormick SC. I could not find Reuben b. 1856 in the 1880 - 1900 census. I do know that Nellie was Reuben's 2nd wife. If anyone has information on this family I would appreciate it. Thanks, Lisa | |||||||||||||||||||||
