Hello, I'm looking for the parents of Thomas Coen. He was born in county Mayo, Ireland. He was 19 when he joined the RIC in the year 1839. He was assigned to Dungarven, Waterford Co. He married Ellen Rourke and they had four children that I know of; Dorthea Jane, Anne Marie, Robert, and James, I believe. Three immigrated to the United States, and one of the brothers to Australia. I am researching for myself, but mostly for my mom whose grandfather was Robert. She really wants to trace her roots back to Mayo.
