George Hughes, b. 1828, Tottenham Dorset England. Married Mary Sheahan, 1856. There were no children in the marriage when Mary passed away in 1859. George then married Elizabeth Hall, b. 1842, Gillingham Dorset England. Married in Brighton Victoria Australia Oct. 23 1860. Known children are John, Sarah, Elizabeth, Mary, George Henry, Eliezer (m. Kate Alice Stenhouse 1899), Rebecca Cicilia, David, Rosina May, Maria Elizabeth. George Henry is my great grandfather and he is the only one I have any information on. He married Mary Fanny Quirk Dec. 24 1903 in Melbourne. Would really love to find out some more about all the other children and also their ancestors. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
