I am just beginning my search for my ancestors. My father's family is ERWIN. My mother's family is PEARSON and GRIMES. They were from the north Mississippi, north Alabama area. My father's father was James Bell Erwin. He was born in 1880 in Ms. His mother's maiden name was Watson. His father was H. Oscar Erwin, he was born in 1854 Al. I do not know much about the Pearson/Grimes. My mother's father was Dallas Pearson. Her mother was Mary Grimes Pearson.
