Desperately seeking info about MALACHI COLMAN born c1900 and MARTIN COLMAN born February 1902 in Ashton under Lyne, (near Oldham), Lancashire, England. I have been told they emigrated to Canada or US probably from Heywood or Bury in Lancashire, but not sure when. They had and elder brother EDWARD(my late grandfather)who stayed in England and an elder sister MARGARET - I don't know anything about her. Their father was MARTIN COLMAN, born c1869 in Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo. He was a policeman in the Lancashire Constabulary. Their mother was ELIZABETH HANNAH (PARKINGTON) born 1873 in Dukinfield Cheshire. She died about six weeks after Martin was born. I would appreciate any help at all - I don't even know if they DID emigrate or not! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
