I am William Scott Johnson born in Blyth in 1958, my grandfather Joe Johnson died in 1957, in Blyth from a falling rock in a mine, can you tell me which hospital he was taken to? Joe Johnson fought in World War One in the Tyneside Scottish Regiment and was mentioned in dispatches, he was a ring leader in the 1926 strike, taking part in the Jarrow march and was in the rescue tugs in World War 2 does anybody remember him and can anyone tell me anything about him? He was married to a Bayles I believe. My father was William Johnson and my Mother's maiden name was Eleanor May Scott and I have a brother called Christopher Scott Johnson. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
