David Kirkpatrick (1862-1947) and his wife Alice Marilda Leach (1868-1921) arrived in South Cle Elum about 1907. The family appears in census records for 1910, 1920, and 1930. Previously they had lived in Clare County Michigan and Washburn, Bayfield County, Wisconsin. David and Alice had one daughter, Hazel Kirkpatrick (1887-1931). She was married to Robert James Hamilton (1885-1970), Charles Squires and George Frank Brown (c1889- ). Alice Marilda Leach Kirkpatrick died in Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington in 1921. David Kirkpatrick died in Cle Elum, Kittitas County, Washington in 1947.
