Looking for descendants of Samuel Henry Clarkston b. 1842, Lee Co, VA, d. 1895 in OK, s/o Samuel and Nancy Jane (Reynolds) Clarkston; and his wife, Elvina Cress, b. 1846 Leslie Co, KY, d. 1927 Ford, ID, bur Fairview Cem, Rockford, WA. dau/of Henry and Nancy Jane (Parsons) Cress. Some, but not all of their 11 identified children moved with their parents to OK and when Samuel died there in 1895, Elvina and at least 3 of their 11 identified children came first to ID and then to Spokane Co,WA with their mother. The children are: 1. Rebecca (Clarkston) and her husband, Ira Huffman were in Idaho in 1920 census. resided 1940 in Albany, OR. 2. Larkin Clarkston was b. in OK, and was in the 1920 Idaho census. 3. Arcable 'Archie' Clarkston, b. 1872 in KY, md. Mary S. (....) d. 1931 in WA. I have accounted for 3 children of Archie and Mary; (1) Arthur R. Clarkston, b. 5 may 1903, (don't know if/who he married), died oct 1981 in Deer Park, Spokane Co, WA. (2) Grace M. Clarkston b. ca 1905 OK (nothing further) (3) Archie Roy Clarkston, b. 1916 Burke, ID, d. 2 jul 1946 Deer Park, Spokane WA. Don't know if/who he married or any children.
