Birth parents or siblings. ISO Birth mother: Rita Mansfield (maiden name) of Chicago (My DOB Oct. 24, 1945, girl) father was also in WWII believe was Lt.Cmdr. (about 22 yrs old and of Irish decent). They had gone to school together. He had been shipwrecked during WWII in 1945, and later rescued after being on a life raft for many days and survived. She married someone else a few weeks before I was born (another serviceman) and may not have told my father about me. I believe she was Catholic, but I don't know if he was. She had an older step sister about 10 years older than her with two daughers. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
