I am searching for my birth mom or dad. I was born in New Orleans LA and given up for adoption in August of 1956 through Cathloic Charities. My birth mom was around age 30 or older. She studied to become a nurse after my birth. My birthdad was a friend of the family. He was in his 50's at the time of my birth. She came from a large family. She was the youngest. She was approximately 5 ft. 6 in. or taller had dark hair and blue-green eyes. I was officially adopted in August,but my birthday is May 27,1956. She stayed at a birth home before my birth and after for awhile. I had red hair at birth with blue eyes. My ear was surgically detached from my head, therefore I have a small chunk out of my ear. They were of anglo descent and Methodist of Protestant. My birthgrandfather was in law enforcement. The name given to me at my birth was Matthew.
