I am searching for information on my mother's family the Stanton family. I've just started and what I have found is somewhat conflicting. According to my mother her parents were Charley Samuel Stanton m Lilly (Combs) Stanton. They lived in Oklahoma. Siblings of Charley include Frank, Ancel, Zena,Ruby,Laura, Lola. Charley's parents were George and Vina or Vinnie (Jobe) Stanton George might have been born in Missouri. His parents were John and Jennie Stanton. George also had a sister Dolly or Dollie. I'm not sure about the spelling of these names Most comes from my mother or her cousins and nothing is written down, just their memories. If any of this sounds familiar I would love to hear from you.
