His parents were Peter and Bridget.Brother Patrick "was an educated man, a surveyor" who probably did not marry.John came to New York City in 1827-28. His sister Mary Ann lived there also. He married, had a daughter, Mary Ann in 1829.They were possibly in 12th Ward of newYork City in 1830.Wife died. John was naturalized in PA.
