Searching for any Waddell connections-William &ann Waddell left Scotland in 1923 with their two sons Archibald & John who were approx 9&10.One of the boys died as a teenager as a result of menigitis.Alexander died in 1959 in Napa Valley my grandfather was his youngest brother. His mother was Margeret Leitch(Leatch).He was born in Bearsden & lived Nairn st Dalmuir. They joined a brother-in law John Scott when they first arrived.A granddaughter/g grandaughter was a Catholic nun which caused a stir in a staunch Presbytarian family.
