I am looking for information on a James Barrows and his wife Hannah (Carrick) Barrows. On a 1900 Census for Erie Co., New York, James was born in England and came to the United States in 1857. He was 43 years of age during the 1900 Census. Hannah was born 2 Apr 1843 in Buffalo, Erie Co., New York. They were well known residents of Williamsville, Erie Co., New York for many years. Hannah died 10 Nov 1915 in Prince Albert, Canada. She left Williamsville in March 1913 to go to Canada to live with one of her daughters, Mrs. Jacob Thompson. They had four daughters, Mrs. Fred Gerst, Mrs. Edward Horey, Mrs. Arabelle Miner, and Mrs Ellen Thompson. James probably died before 1913 in or near Williamsville. If anyone has any information for this couple and their daughters, please contact me at bwfenn@vtc.net. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
