A CHANGE ON THE FOSTER INQUIRY..... FRANK FOSTER my ggrandfather was EFFIE FOSTER. His obit stated he left a brother EDWARD STANSBURY which I thought may have been his half or step brother. Have found the following..... EFFY(EFFIE) FRANK FOSTER b. 1880 d. 1948. TN.(married MAUDE BELL SPAIN) They are both buried in Memphis, Tn. He was raised by J.A. and P.M. FOSTER and took their name. The following is from the 1880 Census... NAME AGE S R ST. BORN FATHER MOTHER FRANK STANSBURY 23 W M IL MA VA MARY 25 W F TN TN AL EDWARD 1 W M TN IL TN EFFY 2/12 W M TN IL TN They were in WALNUT CREEK TN. Now I am looking for the STANSBURY line and any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Grace
