Searching for information abour my mother who was known as Perfidia (Gonzalez) Hernandez. Her legal name now appears to be Porfilia Gonzalez the daughter of Nicolas Burgos Feliciano and Rosa Maria Gonzalez who was better known as Sajo or Rosario - all from Yauco. Born February 5, 1932 in Barrio Rio Prieto. Has an older sister named Maragara Gonzalez born December 10, 1930 and a younger brother named Alejandro Gonzalez - there may be others. Nicolas was formerly married to Juana Maria Snatiago Caraballo with whom he had the following children - Hercilia, Eulogio, Pentura (Bentura), Francisca (Tato), and Jose(Santos?). Hercilia later became the wife of Ezequiel Perez Caraballo. Eulogio was the husband of Isable Feliciano Paneto de Burgos - also from Yauco. Eulogio worked in the US at some point and has a son that died in Pennyslvania. These people were from Barrios Aguas Blancas and Rio Prieto. For some unkonown reason, my mother "was given" to Ramona Lagarde Rivera and Juan Ruiz and later Francisco Cruz Cherena to raise - originally from Yauco. We also know that Ramona and Francisco lived in Guanica for some time. My mother was told she attended school in Lajas and that she had sisters in Sabana Grande. Rosa Maria's last residence was supposedly in Barrio Maraquez in Ponce and she is supposedly buried in Yauco (circa 1992).
