This is my gg-grandfather. I would like to correspond with family from this line. William A. Booher 13 Feb 1953 Funeral services for William A. Booher, 76, who died at 5 o'clock Friday morning at a local hospital, will be conducted from the Weaver Funeral Chapel at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The Rev. Blanton Newton and the Rev. Perley Richardson will be in charge of services. Interment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. He is survived by his wife and ten children: Donald E., Jess W., Roy Lee, Clarence Ray, and Carl Jr., all of Bristol; John and Robert, Portsmouth, Ohio; Laura Mae Booher, Dorothy Mae Booher, both of Bristol; and Mrs. Mary Almarode, Kingsport, Tennessee. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren. Notes: William's wife's name was not listed (Sarah Susan McClain Booher). Dorothy's middle name was reportedly Lucille. John and Robert of Portsmouth, Ohio, were William's twin sons by his first wife, Millie Hawkins. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
