I belive that Thomas(Elisha)Wade b.1815 was the brother of Elijah Wade b.1819 who lived in Screven Co., Dooly Co. and Brooks Co. Georgia at the same time. Starting with the 1830 census for Screven Co., Ga. Elijah Wade b.1891(date of birth figured from age listed on Census) is shown to have two sons (one between 15 and 20 years old and another between 10 and 15 years of age.) The younger son would be Elijah Wade b. 1819 and the older son would be Thomas Wade b.1815. The 1840 Census shows that all three of them moved to Dooly Co., Ga. (In pioneers of Wiregrass Volume 5 page 480, It said that Elijah Wade b.1819 moved to Dooly Co.,Ga. whith his widowed mother and brother Elisha.Part of this is incorrect because Elijah Wade b.1891 died in Brooks Co., Ga. in 1857.) The 1840 census shows that Thomas Wade b.1815 had married and started a family. The census also showed that Elijah Wade b.1819 was still living with his father. The 1850 census shows them all still living in Dooly Co., Ga. and Elijah b.1819 is now married to Elizabeth Reddick b. 1827 in Screven Co.,Ga. In 1853 or 1854 they all moved to what is now Brooks Co., Ga. They were all living within a 5 mile area. In the 1860 Census for Brooks Co. Ga. shows both Thomas and Elijah still living in the county. Thomas Wade b 1815 died in 1869.
