I am trying to trace my ancestors who travelled from Scotland to the caribbean island of St. Vincent early 1800's. My great grandfather was John Mackie born abt.1849 in Old Machar. His father was Charles Mackie, a cattle dealer who married abt. 1844. Some of John's siblings were William, Peter, James & Christina. John married in St.Vincent 1871, & had thirteen children. Any help in this area, will be greatly appreciated. Velma.
