We are looking for information on George Augustus Rogers (may have married a Alice), he was born in north Ireland in 1735, settled first in Maryland and then in Elk Run township in Columbiana County, Ohio. He had a son Alexander(also born in Ireland, Ulster?), who had a son, Samuel Rogers(born in Columbiana County, Ohio) (Samuel went on to Holmes County, and then married Sarah Miller, they moved on to Marshall County, Illinois with Samuel's sister and her husband (Nancy Rogers Wilcox and Dr. Levi Wilcox) We would like to learn more about George Augustus Rogers and Alexander Rogers. George fought in the French and Indian War.(Gen Braddock) George Augustus Rogers was my husband's GGGG Grandfather. If you have information on this Rogers family, please contact us.
