Searching for information re: Joseph Murphy, son of Paten aka Paton aka Peyton aka Payton Murphy. Joseph was brother of Leah Murphy, wife of Robert T. Walker. Joseph married Susan Walker, sister of Robert T. Walker and issued 2 daughters, Amanda born 1855 and Martha, born 1857, both in Worth CO, Missouri. Joseph died prior to 1861 when Susan remarried to Charles Wesley Spillman, a widower. Parents of Susan and Robert T. Walker were Harris Walker and Purlina Cruse. Amanda Murphy married Franklin Pierce Muirheid. Martha Murphy married Albert Henry Franklin, son of John Franklin and Mary E. Shoffner.
