Signa Charlotte Carlson Olson (born Jan. 18, 1877 in Stockholm, Sweden)was adopted from Sweden and brought to Nebraska when she was 5 years old in 1882. She was adopted by Peter and Josephine Charlotte Olson. Peter and Josephine Charlotte Olson had another daughter. No sure of her name. There is a Cora Ross Heacock written on the back of a picture of Signa and her. Other Carlson children came to the United States. She was never able to locate them. She was from Stockholm, Sweden and they lived near the ocean or sea, where her parents would leave the children and go fish. Signa married Leonidus (Lon) Alfonso Ross. They had a daughter, Gladys Elena Ross and a son Charles Ross. My grandmother Gladys Ross was born in Omaha, Nebraska. She married Allie Gallagher and they lived in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Her daughter Josephine Charlotte Ross Williams is my grandmother. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
