I am looking for information on a Joseph Pirkins/Perkins who was probably born around the Civil War period, in Ohio. He married an Angeline Stephens in 1883, in Pike County, Ohio. They had three children, but somewhere between when the last child was born (1896) and 1899, he either divorced from Angeline or passed away, as she was remarried in the 1900 census records. I am having a difficult time locating a death date or divorce record on Joseph and Angeline, or finding him on the census because there are many Joseph Perkins from the 1800's living in Ohio. If this story sounds familiar, please let me know. He was my g-g-grandfather and I would love to continue tracing his lineage. | |||||||||||||||||||||
