MCCRACKEN, TENNYSON,CAMPBELL,McCormick,JOHNSTON Doing my family genealogy. James McCracken Co.Ayr married Margaret Johnston abt.1841,Robt.McCracken married Mary Campbell abt.1865, Greenock - their children: Dougald born 1865, James 1870 and Hector Campbell 1874. Dougald married Annie and they had 5or6 children one was Alexander, Dougald lived on Campbell St in Renfrew. James was a band leader and had a son who was Provost? of Renfrew. Hector married Ann Napier Tennyson - they are my grandparents. Ann Napier Tennyson was the daughter of James Tennyson and Elizabeth McCormick of Port Glasgow. I can't find any additional info on James Tennyson. Would like to get some info on McCrackens of Renfrew. Like to write any that are still around. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
