I am reseaRching my husband's LANSBURY ancestors - spelling could be LANTBURY LANEBURY and other variants. They come from East Haddon Northamptonshire. Thomas Lansbury (m Hannah Brown 1821) born 1796 parents Anthony and Ann (married 1787 East Haddon). His son Thomas born ca 1831 East Haddon married Prudence Godridge 1854 at West Bromwich, Staffordshiore. He died 1877 at WB and Prudence married a widower Josiah Poole and they emigrated to Queensland Australia. All, (bar Mary), of the childeren came as well over timne - Thomas (M Sarah Creamor), William (married Elizabeth Smith-Welch), David (m Anne Laird),Elizabeth (m Samuel Foley), Eliza, Louisa (m Joseph Jesson) - all Lansburys as well as Mary Poole and Thomas Poole. Appears that James Poole and Josiah Poole (sons) stayed in WB. I am looking for information about any of these and in particular the East Haddon LANSBURY family and Siblings for Anthony Lansbury.
