I am searching for the McLaren family from Otago - my great grandmother was born in Oamaru, Otago in December 1866 to Hugh McLaren and his wife named Jane or Jean Douglas before marriage - I belive Hugh was a farmer - she married my greatgrandfather in Lismore NSW Australia in 1893 and her father Hugh signed as a witness - I would like any information about the family - believe the family came from Scotland and were presbyterian | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
