my "brick wall" i KNOW that Riley Lowrey/Lowry was born in 1826 in Haywood Co TN and we can directly tie back to him. What i don't know is before him and even any of his siblings, etc. Possibly (and probably) his father was JOSEPH LOWRY ("who died at his ferry in 1846" in Haywood Co); I have a court document that lists several people - one of whom is Riley - as defendants and I would presume that the defendants are siblings (or at least related) since it is an estate matter. Those names are John LOWERY, Wilson PERVIS and wife Sally, Charles CARTER and wife Betsy, Steth KING and wife Patsy, Riley LOWERY, heirs of ANDERSON LOWERY, deceased vs Martha JOHNSON Family went to Arkansas mid-late 1800's.
