O'Day ,Day My great grand father was Samuel Day when he married, but after having 7 of his fourteen children he changed his name to O'Day or back to O'Day as we don't know if this was his name originally, he married Mary Ward in 1872 in Carisbrook and they had fourteen children Samuel 1872 George 1874 Albert1877 John 1878 Mary 1880 Margaret1882 William 1885 Joseph 1887 Michael 1890 James 1892 Leslie 1893 Maude1893 my grandmother Ernest 1895 Anne 1897 Myrtle 1899 , I have not been able to treace his parents either they are supposed to be George Day /O'Day and Mary O'Loughlin who resided in Tasmania, but as yet I have no record of their marriage or Samuel's Birth any information would be much appreciated There must be heaps of cousins out there somewhere kind regards Lara | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
