I am trying to find any information about the Tuberculosis Sanitarium in what use to be Flint or Flint City, Morgan County, Alabama (now part of Decatur, AL). My great grand mother stayed and died there. All I know is that it was a Privite hospital in the 1930's, became state owned in the 1950's, and is now a Mental Institute. Her name was Athalene (Maxey) Parks. We think she died in 1939 but can not find a death record. Anything will be helpful in locating cemetery information, medical records, and so forth. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
