HARWELL-BARBER-LOMAX OR CHESTNUT CREEK, ALABAMA Looking for relatives of Sarah, malinda,Malissa Barber daughters of James John Barber and Martha Dennis (THEY HAD 10 CHILDREN IN ALL). Also looking for relatives of Oliver Hyram (sp?)Harwell who married Sarah Barber at Chestnut Creek in 1883. They had one son Oscar H Harwell. They settled in Lomax, Al as best I can determine and must have died somewhere in 1898 or 1899. I believe they owned some kid of general store as the story goes after their death my grandfather and his cousin ate everthing they could then simply walked away from it.
