I am looking for the descendants of George & Nancy Tuttle both born in New York. George Tuttles parents Henry & Sussanna Tuttle, Henry Tuttle born 1790 N.Y. George had a known brother John Tuttle born 1813 N.Y. George Tuttle born 1816 N. Y., Nancy tuttle born abt 1819 N.Y. They had seven known children together Jane Tuttle born abt 1839 N.Y. Margaret Tuttle born 1840 N.Y. Lydia Tuttle born 1842 N.Y. Hosea Tuttle born 1844 N.Y. Harriet Tuttle born 1849 N.Y Harvey George Tuttle born 1853 Ashippun, Dodge Co, Wi Rosetta Tuttle born 1855 Ashippun, Dodge Co, Wi George & Nancy Tuttle were in the 1850 census in Ashippun, Dodge Co, Wi with there children Jane age 11, Margaret age 10, Lydia age 8, Hosea age 6, Harriet age 1 In 1860 census for Dodge Co, Wi Nancy Tuttle was the head of the home with her children Hosea age 16, Harriet age 10, Harvey G. age 7 & Rosetla age 5. George Tuttle had left home between 1855 & 1860 to take a load of logs to the lumber mill never to return. Nancy Tuttle was in the 1870 Dodge Co, Wi census with these children, Harriet age 21, Harvey g. age 17 Lucille A. age 8 born 1862 WI (father unknown) George later was found to have married Fidelia Chloe (Blighton)Canfield 11-04-1858 who first was married to Jeremiah Canfield 06-15-1842. Fidelia Chloe Blighton was born 06-18- 1824 in Cattaraugus, N.Y. Jeremiah Canfield & Fidelia Chloe Blighton had four children together. Armina C. canfield born 10-23-1844 Marion Matilda Canfield born 09-21-1846 Frank Willard Canfield born 09-22-1847 Hattie Augusta Canfield born 07-17-1857 Jeremiah & Fidelia Canfield were in the 1850 census in Dane Co, Wi with there children. Jeremiah Canfield was said to have goan out hunting in Wi one day never to return George Tuttle & Fidelia (Blighton) Canfield had four children William (middle either Henry or Joseph) Tuttle born 01-04-1860, Wi Thomas Monroe Tuttle born 03-06-1864 Mn Laura Jemima Tuttle born 12-20-1866 Mo George H Tuttle born 03-07-1870 Mo George was found also in Cedar, Ia as a pioneer in 1870. You will notice that George, Fidelia nor there children, her four with Jeremiah Canfiled & there four children were not in the census again untill 1880 & then it was only Fidelia Tuttle & there four children William, Thomas Monroe, Laura Jemima & George H Tuttle in the 1880 Madison, Polk Co, Ia census. Just a guess George Tuttle might have deseaced by then. Marion Matilda Canfield was with them in Mn for she met & married William Windsor in Freeborn, Mn. They had moved to Rimbey, Albertz, Canada by 1901 & Fidelia (Canfield) Tuttle must have lived her life out living with her daughter Marion M. Windsor for she died in 1912 in Rimbey, Alberta, Canada. George & Nancy Tuttle son Harvey G Tuttle married Luella Sturtevant 1881 born 12-18-1859, died 1945 Harvey died 1926, known children Berdice A Tuttle born 03-22-1882, Roy Tuttle, Harold Tuttle & Lawrence Tuttle, Berica A Tuttle born 03-22-1882 Hartland, Wi married Myrtle Mae Lewis 06-30-1908 Ft Wayne, Indiana, born 12-20-1883 known children Eleanor Jean Tuttle born 10-05-1909, spouse George Wright Helen Arlynn Tuttle born 12-24-1911 spouse Michael G. Gordon Arthur Lyle Tuttle born 08-11-1913 twins Rex Sturtevant Tuttle, Ruth Harriet Tuttle born 03-29-1916 Robert bruce tuttle 10-03-1925 Ruth Harriet Tuttle married Walter Braunsdorf Jr 03-29-1936 born 08-09-1912 South Bend, Indiana, died 11-1970 Indiana, Ruth Tuttle Braunsdorf died 02-26-1989 Indiana, Walter Braunsdorf Jr parents were Walter Braunsdorf Sr & Emma Gibson born 03-12-1885, died 12-16-1988 Indiana. His grandfather was Robert Louis Braunsdorf a well known skilled architect & builder, he helped with Notre Dame & bulit St Marys Church as well as many houses & businesses in Indiana. He came to Cooperstown, N.Y. from Dantzig, Germany & then to South Bend,Indiana.
